Steve Mini lights bushfire in Namibia

This was never seen in Namibia. On Saturday 12 FMX athletes of the IFMXF entered the African continent and jumped Windhoek for the NIGHT of the JUMPs into the ground. The air was burning on the FMX parkour at Tony Rust Race Track. Remi Bizouard gambled away in the qualifying and missed the finals. But in the end he could celebrate, as Podmol and Miralles only came up on fourth and fifth position. So the French rider has a lead of 23 points and defended his title.

19.11.2009 IFMXF FIM World Championships in Windhoek (NAM) - Preview
The FIM Freestyle MX World Championships 2009 are close to it’s final decision. On upcoming Saturday the FMX riders will fight for the second last points of the World Cup at the NIGHT of the JUMPs in Windhoek/Namibia. Due to the security cancellation of the contests in Zagreb only 40 points are left to collect for the overall ranking. Last years World Champ Remi Bizouard leads with 27/28 points ahead of Jose Miralles and Libor Podmol. If the French rider wins at Tony Rust Race Track, he would defend his title automatic. Should Bizouard end up behind Miralles and Podmol, but looses only 7 or 8 points to them, he still would hold the crown.
