The reigning “Namibian International Champion” Pela Renet from France is doing extraordinary well in Europe. With his Bodo Schmidt Suzuki Team he’s trying an onslaught in the 2009 MX3 World Championships and sofar he did not dissappoint his team manager.

Last weekend he had to travel to Markelo (The Netherlands) for the 7th run in this years worldchampionships. He had not fully recovered from his crash in Bulgaria a week ago, but was confident that he would endure the punishment handed out by the choppy track in Holland.
A good start in the first heat gave the likable Frenchman wings and he rode a consistent race to finish third. The start of the 2nd heat was not to his liking. To the delight of his team, he charged forward and improved from 15th position to finish fifth. Renet is lying in the points-log in 3rd overall position, a mere eight points behind number two Alex Salvini (Italy).
