Tommy Gous winner of the Steel Force Trophy
The working-committee around Tobie Barlow all showed smiling faces after the first "National" of the 2011 season on the new track in Olympia. More then 600 spectators witnessed excellent mx-sport in allmost all classes, with big fields of starters…there was a record turnover behind the bar… the rain only started after the race…and thus a very happy sponsor from Messrs Steel Force, Günther Henle.

Steel Force Motocross Cup in Olympia
It's that time of the year again! The Moto Cross season starts off on Saturday, 26th March on the new race track in Olympia, situated beneath the public swimming pool. Due to the municipality's unbureaucratic permission and with the support of the Windhoek City Police, it is possible to host this race in Olympia. Messrs Steel Force cc. greatly supports this 1st WMCC (Windhoek Moto Cross Club) Championship race.

MX-Olympia mega success!
The moto-x-event this weekend in Olympia exceeded all expectations. More than 1000 spectators came to the WMCC grounds and at least the same number of people stood outside the premisses and lined the fence. The Windhoek Moto Cross Club recorded 88 entries in the races - a new record.

MX-Action in Olympia suburb
There is joodling of soccer-fans, barking dogs at the dog training camp and the screaming from the indoor-hockey team, now there is a new sound…the roaring of 450cc motocross bikes can be heard on 23rd of october at the old softballfield, opposite the municipal swimming-pool. Here the WMCC (Windhoek Moto Cross Club) is staging its first Moto-X Championship event to be held in Olympia. With the aid of the building industrie who supplied earthmoving machinery, the WMCC established a new motocross track.

Bierbrauer wins Bike & Quad Trophy
During the Bike & Quad Clinic race-day Björn Bierbrauer proved that he is presently in top form. Björn won the Bike & Quad trophy heats with a maximum number of points and also excelled in the highlight of the day, the “Bike & Quad Clinic King of the Dirt” race.

Round 2 of the prestigious NMSF Motocross and Quadcross championship will take place at the Gallina Motocross Park on the 11th of September 2010.
In the Quad C class Jaque Snyman is a clear leader, the other competitors will have to ride well to knock him off the top of the podium.

Watch Out Cattle Country here we come!
That's right; the Windhoek Motocross Club will be hosting its 5th Championship round of Moto and Quad Cross at the Elephant's Drinking Hole on Saturday the 10th of July 2010 in Gobabis. For the 1st time in 3 years the sport will return to the Eastern capital of Namibia for the locals to enjoy the thrills and spills of this death defying sport.
