Messrs Waldschmidt is engaged in Moto-X for decades already. Eckhard and his younger brother Ingo were at the helm of the Windhoek Moto Cross Club for many years and it was during their reigns that the WMCC progressed most, shining sample is the Gallina Motocross Park which was built on the Waldschmidt Egg farm. Both Waldschmidts also excelled during their careers as mx-riders and Ingo is still activ tackeling the Paris Dakar Rallye in January 2008.

The distributors of the "Jägermeister" brand are engaged in mx-racing for the past 4 years already. At Gallina Moto Cross Park the afterrace-party is traditionally known as the Jägermeister-Party amongst the Windhoek Youths. Since 2005 they even went further and sponsored individual mx-riders like Ronnie Adams, Shawn Bruwer and Jose Teixeira. Jägermeister, being a German product, it was quite obvious that they would become the sponsors of the German-Team.

The time has come again! The 11. edition of the annual international Moto Cross "Inter-Series" takes place on 3rd of November as well as on the 10th of November. Noteworthy is the fact, that the 1st run on November 3rd will be counting towards the "AMU Championship Southern Africa", in short called "Southern Challenge". This mega motorsport event in Namibia gains official recognition from the African Motorcycle Union.

German Kolberg wins Air Namibia-Trophäe und prize-money

Blood, sweat & tears, tears of joy and frustration ... all this we could witness during the 2nd racing day of the Air Namibia Inter-Series 2006. The organiser was able to smile again for the first time since 2003, since more than 2000 spectators lined the race track on Gallina. Apart from the international MX-races, an extensive supporting programme was offered with exciting races in the Winston Pit-Bike Clash, Aerobatics by the Freestylers in the Red Bull X-Fighters Show Namibia, as well as the big conclusion of the day: the Tafel Lager Battle of the Bands, which was very well received by the youngsters. There was dancing, singing and a great atmosphere.

Three riders hope for Air Namibia MX – Title

After last Saturday's race, let's analyse the second run "Air Namibia-Wesbank MX Dash for Cash", which will take place coming Saturday, 4th of November at the Gallina Moto Cross Park.
The riders will start afresh and some new participants from South Africa and Zimbabwe are expected, who still had to take part in a championships-race in their home countries last weekend. International riders will battle for victory and honour on Gallina and the "Air Namibia - Wesbank MX Dash for Cash" will be the absolute climax of this series. The overall winner not only receives a renowned title as well as the Air Namibia-Trophy, but also a cheque with an amount of N$ 8000,00 (Eight Thousand Dollars).
