South Africans dominate 1st Leg of Inter-Series
It was a racing day full of surprises. Exciting Moto Cross under blue skies, approximately 1,500 spectators, the finest freestyle and a record turnover in the beer-tent during the Jägermeister-Party.

International Freestyle-Show - Check the Freestyle-Czechs
For the 6th time already MX-Freestyle is part of the annual Motocross Inter-Series. The most crazy sport on two wheels is and remains "MX-Freestyle"!
In 2000 already the WMCC, with the help of Horst Schnelle, acted as trend-setter and offered the first international "Freestyle Show" on the African continent, it was kind of adding some spice to pep up the Inter-Series! And it worked like a bomb!

It was already difficult to gain information about the South African participants, but information about Team Zambia was practically unobtainable. It is rumoured that there are an overall of 15 participants coming to Namibia and taking part in all classes, but we only know the names of two!

Waldschmidt Eggs - Team South Africa
Messrs Waldschmidt is engaged in Moto-X for decades already. Eckhard and his younger brother Ingo were at the helm of the Windhoek Moto Cross Club for many years and it was during their reigns that the WMCC progressed most, shining sample is the Gallina Motocross Park which was built on the Waldschmidt Egg farm. Both Waldschmidts also excelled during their careers as mx-riders and Ingo is still activ tackeling the Paris Dakar Rallye in January 2008.

Jägermeister - German Team
The distributors of the "Jägermeister" brand are engaged in mx-racing for the past 4 years already. At Gallina Moto Cross Park the afterrace-party is traditionally known as the Jägermeister-Party amongst the Windhoek Youths. Since 2005 they even went further and sponsored individual mx-riders like Ronnie Adams, Shawn Bruwer and Jose Teixeira. Jägermeister, being a German product, it was quite obvious that they would become the sponsors of the German-Team.
