Thirtytwo entries were received by the Enduro Working Group (WMCC) at the CTM-Enduro which was held eastersunday at Swakopmund at and around the mx-racetrack near the salt-pans.

Unfortunately no results were available when attached photos were mailed off to the web-master. Should we receive same, we will keep you informed.

Those who are familiar with the region south of Windhoek know, one can find the ideal Enduro "playground" here. Beautiful savannah landscapes – here and there we see antilopes grazing – alternate with mountainous terrain, and in between gravel passages, and worst of all: deep sand. The writer knows what he is talking about, he got stuck for 30 minutes with his motorcar!

The 3rd Enduro race of the season, organised by the Enduro Working Group-Namibia, will take place on Farm Lichtenstein this coming Saturday June 24th. Farm Lichtenstein at the same time acts as main sponsor for this offroad-event. Interested spectators are invited to come to the farm which lies 35 km south of Windhoek on the road to Rehoboth. The point of action will be signposted.

Although the early morning hours of the 20th of May started quite cold with drizzle and wind, the place around the starting area was already crowded with Endurists. From all corners of Namibia the participants had travelled to show their talent and endurance at the Joker's Pizzeria & Sport Bar Enduro.

On the 20th of May the 2nd Enduro race of the 2006 season will take place in the perimeter of the Western-Bypass. This race is being sponsored by the well known Joker's Pizzaria & Sport Bar. Collin Hart and Tony Viljoen partners of this enterprise, are both avid Endurists but Tony is also a talented Moto Cross rider. The award ceremony after the event, will also take place on the grounds of Joker's.

Be it through the bushveld, water, rocks or mud, in an ancient landscape, shaped since primeval times through the elements of nature, the first Enduro race of the 2006-season took place. The sponsor of this event Waldschmidt Poultryfarm made their beautiful farm available for this motorsport competition. And what's more, Jörg Waldschmidt's son, Namibia's multi-champion Ingo Waldschmidt, won the rating in the motorcycle class One. A total Waldschmidt success so to say!

For the first time in the history of the Windhoek Moto Cross Club, this active association will host an Enduro-series during the year 2006. This first event will be sponsored by Messrs Waldschmidt Poultry Farm.
