Enduro Working Group - News Letter #2 |
|
Time again for a newsletter after a successful first event to keep you updated and informed.
I think we can all agree that Omaruru was a great event after all. We had a record number of 76 entries. These are the most entries ever at a National enduro event as far as I can recall. We all hope this stays this way or even becomes more later this year. Thanks to Ingo and his team for a great track and thanks once again to Mr Waldschmidt senior for letting us ride on his farm once more.

Namibian Enduro Championship Round 3 - Preview |
Enduro racing held at Tony Rust Race Track
With a very successful AMU Baja held, the Windhoek Motorcross Club Enduro Working Committee is hosting Leg 3 of the Namibian National Enduro Championship at the Tony Rust Race Track outside of Windhoek on Saturday, 9 June 2007. Racing starts 11:00 in the morning. As the Enduro and Rally takes place on the same day and at the same venue, the main sponsor of the combined event is Star Body Works.
The refuel area and pitts is at the Tony Rust Race Track and the riders will ride a section of the old Quad bike track in the middle of the Oval circuit, thus something to see for the spectators. The Enduro will start just after the last Rally car completed the Tony Rust rally stage. Then in the afternoon, the Rally cars will start their last stage again at Tony Rust just after the last Enduro bike finished.
