The racing season finally got underway with the first round held at the Gallina track here in Windhoek. It was a nerve wrecking weekend as it was Matthew’s first race on his 65cc bike. The bike has been lowered to its maximum for him to be able to ride it properly and with the suspension’s travel being shortened, life became tough at the end of the day once the track became rough.
after some time of lazynes ... ahem, I mean relaxing... now it is time for my first newsletter of the year.
After I got home on the 23rd of December it was time to refill my batteries and leave the bike in the garage. My body needed more than 2 weeks of relaxation to regain it’s full energy load. But the goo dthing about it is: now I am ready to go wide open again!
The Namibian Inter Series is now behind our back and overall it was a successful two weekends for our riders. The track conditions were outstanding and the Windhoek Moto-Cross Club did an excellent job over the two weekends.
