Claudio de Carli is proud to announce that his MX2 World Championship team will from now on be called the "Yamaha Red Bull De Carli Team", signifying the stronger collaboration between the team and the world leader in the energy drinks market. Since 2006 Red Bull has been a team partner and after two very successful seasons, in which Antonio Cairoli finished second in 2006 and celebrated his second MX2 World Championship title this year, both parties agreed to intensify their relationship.

The Kawasaki GPKR team is pleased to announce that Kevin Strijbos (BEL) has joined Sébastien Pourcel (FRA) and will contest the 2008 FIM MX1 World Championship aboard a factory KX450F. The Yamaha Van Beers GP Motocross Racing Team has confirmed Evgeny Bobryshev (RUS) as MX2 rider for the 2008 MX season. The talented Russian teenager from Kaluga, has inked a two year deal with the Dutch based team after an impressive ride at the Motocross of European Nations where Bobryshev beat factory riders Maximilian Nagl (GER), Manuel Priem (BEL) and Marcus Schiffer (GER) in the final Moto of the teams event.
