Team Suzuki's Steve Ramon (BEL, Suzuki) will head to the Grand Prix of Northern Ireland at the new Moneyglass Demesne circuit for the 13th round of 15 in the 2007 FIM MX1 Motocross World Championship with a realistic opportunity of taking the lead in the series for the first time this season.
Three time Grand Prix winner Billy Mackenzie has signed a two year deal with the CAS Honda Racing team to contest the 2008 and 2009 World MX1 championship.
Mackenzie who won this years Grand Prix of Japan in his rookie year in MX1 and leads the British MX1 championship is a great addition to the CAS Honda team.
Suzuki has agreed terms with Steve Ramon (BEL, Suzuki) for a further two years keeping the 27 year old former world champion, who is currently second in the FIM MX1 World Championship series, on board the potent RM-Z450 for 2008 and 2009.
A further big-name signing will be unveiled by Suzuki at the end of the season.
