Erhard Pajewski wins his first SA National Heat (CapeTown 24/4/2010) |
In Practise one could see already by the pace he was running that he would the absolute favorite for the day. Placing fastest laptime in the MX Highschool class only 3 seconds slower then the fastest time on the day by the fastest MX2 rider. Daniel Pajewski placing third fastest only 0.05 seconds obehind second placed Meiring Vermeulen.

Following his 16th Birthday he is now allowed to ride with a 250 in the Western Cape Regional MX2 Championship. This has lifted the bar! More then 5 seconds per lap faster on the "KTM Capetown Machine".

Race Nation Honda's Dirkie Baard Wins the 2009 Quad Mx Championship |
Race Nation Honda's Dirkie Baard is the 2009 SA National Quad MX Champion of the Pro 450 Class. Baard has won the title at the final round of the 2009 championship held on 12 September at Wild Thing Raceway outside Johannesburg in Gauteng after winning both of the 15 minute heats.

A lot has happened in the last few weeks and therefore a bit longer report. Since the last report the team has grown by a further two members. Riding in the MX Lights (85cc) Class as well as in the MX2 class, Tristan Muller is the 2008 MX65 Champion and currently leads the MX Lights class on his YZ 85. Mark Sternagel, the 2008 MX Lights Champion, has returned from injury and has now moved up to the MX2 class with his YZ 125 for the remainder of the 2009 season.

Renet claims MX3 World Title with one round to spare |
The title says it all and the cat is out of the bag – Pierre-Alexandre Renet produced a near flawless performance at the penultimate GP of the 2009 MX3 world championship series at Randers, Denmark, and when all was said and done, the popular Frenchman stood atop the podium, scarcely able to contain his emotions as he was crowned 2009 world champion.

Team Race Nation Honda's Dirkie Baard has strengthened his lead in the overall national off-road quad standings when he finished second at the recent Mafikeng Mini Desert, the fourth round of the 2009 SA National Off-road Quad Championship held in the North-West Province.

MX2 triumph in Okahandja for Honda Muxima Racing
Honda Muxima racing is one of Namibia’s few professional Motocross Teams. It was the idea of Angolan national Jose Teixeira to run mx-sport more professional in Namibia and especially give the youngsters a chance to develop. This idea was strongly supported by Honda Pupkewitz who supported the new team with two bikes and at a festive launch in february, Honda Muxima Racing became the official representative of Honda Pupkewitz in Namibia.

With the Moto Cross season that started last weekend on the sandy Gallina MX Track, the Honda Muxima Racing team presented their line up in the El Portuga Restaurant in Klein Windheok on Tuersday evening the 26th of february. With succefull racing results during the 2008 season, Team Manager Jose Teixeira is confident that his Team will make headlines this year and that a lot can be expected from his riders.
