Chad Reed (Yamaha) won the opening race of the Amp’d Mobile World Supercross GP at Rogers Centre in front of 33,412. Martin Davalos (KTM) led all 15 laps in winning the Amp’d Mobile Supercross Lites main event.

The American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) and AMA Pro Racing have announced the schedule for the 2007 AMA Toyota Motocross Championship presented by FMF. The 2007 calendar highlights include an all-new event at Freestone County Raceway in Wortham, Texas.

Kawasaki will blend future talent with experienced champions in a 2007 MX/SX lineup featuring four teams and 12 riders.

James Stewart (Kawasaki) walked away with US$ 100,000 by winning both Friday and Saturday nights’ events at the Rockstar Energy Drink U.S. Open inside the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Ricky Carmichael (Suzuki) finished second overall and Kevin Windham (Honda) finished third. Josh Grant (Honda) swept both nights of racing in the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute (MMI) AMA Supercross Lites class. Jake Weimer (Honda) finished second overall and Chris Gosselaar (Kawasaki) finished third.

American Suzuki Motor Corp. (ASMC) announced today that Team Makita Suzuki Racing’s Ricky Carmichael is on the road to recovery after crashing in the first moto at the final round of AMA Toyota Motocross at Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, California on Sunday, injuring his left shoulder.
