Just one week after clinching the Eastern Regional AMA Supercross Lites class championship, Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Christophe Pourcel won his fifth main event of the season.

San Manuel Yamaha’s James Stewart won his series-leading ninth race of the season in front 36,984 excited fans inside Toronto’s Rogers Centre, the lone race outside of the United States for the 2009 Monster Energy® AMA Supercross season. Just one week after giving away victory with a crash while leading, the 2007 series champion bounded back resoundingly leading every lap.

In front of 55,815 rabid fans inside St. Louis’ Edward Jones Dome, Rockstar/Makita Suzuki’s Chad Reed earned his third win of the 2009 Monster Energy® AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, season and extended his series points lead. In the AMA Supercross Lites class, GEICO Powersports Honda’s Blake Wharton broke through with his first-career victory, ending the stranglehold by Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki.

Rockstar/Makita Suzuki’s Chad Reed won his first AMA Super- cross race of the 2009 season at the inaugural race inside Lucas Oil Stadium before 61,538 fans, tying the AMA Super- cross class points race.

Before the 2009 Monster Energy® AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, moves east, the world’s best riders brought the action to a close in the state of California as San Manuel Yamaha’s James Stewart extended his winning streak to six races at Qualcomm Stadium.

The penultimate round in California produced a lot of excitement as 43,812 diehard fans braved the rain and cold temperatures inside Angel Stadium in Anaheim, California to witness San Manuel Yamaha’s James Stewart take his fifth consecutive win of the 2009 Monster Energy® AMA Super- cross. Rockstar/Makita Suzuki’s Chad Reed brought home his fifth straight second place finish to retain the points lead.

James Stewart won his fourth consecutive Monster Energy® AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, race at AT&T Park before 39,414 fans. Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawa- saki’s Jake Weimer won his second Western Regional AMA Supercross Lites class race, snapping the two-race win streak of Ryan Dungey, who rides for the Rockstar/Makita Suzuki’s team.

In his continued climb towards the top of the AMA Supercross standings, Team San Manuel Yamaha’s James Stewart won his third straight Monster Energy® AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, race in front of 48,277 fans at Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas.
