3-days of excellent mx-racing at the Westfalen-Halle

I was very honoured when I received the invitation to the Jubilee-Event "25-years of Supercross in Dortmund". For the first time, since 2004, I attended again this prestigious event in Germany. I must admit, quality of racing has improved, however quality of hospitality in the Press-Bureau has nearly vanished, compared to previous years, when Dortmund offered the highest standard in media support.

19.01.2008 Int. Motocross in Valence (FRA) - Preview
Since a few years now the track of Valence (France) - located in south-west part of France, between Lyon and Avignon - host one of the most important pre-season races, with Mantova (Italy) and Hawkstone Park (Great Britain). On the southern surface, most of the factory riders will be racing on February 23rd and 24th to prepare the 2008 season.

Price money increased to over 200 000 euros

In the upcoming season the riders fight for almost 210,000 euros price money at the ADAC MX Masters. The decision to rise the price money was made at the organizer meeting in Munich. The individual events are now strengthened since larger current price monies can be announced. Primarily for guest and private riders the participation gets more attractive by the increased boni and the financial incentive connected with that. The qualification money is raised by 50 per cent.

From 14th to 16th December the Olympia Hall in the bavarian capital Munich was the venue for one of the largest supercross events in Europe. On 3 days over 20.000 spectators saw finest sports on two wheels with the final rounds of the UEM Supercross European Championchip, the second round of the FIM Indoor Enduro World Cup, SuperMoto-races, the FMX- and Mountainbike Freestyle-Shows.

Ross Branch 12th overall in the SX2-class

On last Friday and Saturday evening the 5th Int. Einsiedler Supercross took place in the Arena in Chemnitz (GER). More than 55 riders from 15 nations were in classes SX1 and SX2 at the start, one of them was Ross Branch from Botswana.

Kevin Zdon (H.D Racing Team) is regarded as a Motocross raw diamond. The 22-year old from Thuringia gained acceptance through his victory at the 1st Amateur Masters initiated of the magazine motoX. He defeated over 100 other riders from all over Germany. The pay for his success: a wild card for the ADAC MX Masters finals in Teutschenthal.

Victory for Maximilian Nagl in Höchstädt

8,000 spectators, 17 degree celsius, sunshine and a well prepared "KTM ring" offered last Sunday the ideal scenery for an impressive race of the ADAC MX Masters title holder Maximilian Nagl (KTM Sarholz Racing). In both heats the 20-year-old Bavarian gave proof of his class and secured the day victory for himself – unchallengedly in front of the Hungarian Kornel Nemeth (Teka Suzuki) and the Frechener Marcus Schiffer (KTM Sarholz Racing).
