This coming Saturday, 24th of March, a "Fun-Day" will be held at the Gallina Moto Cross Park to which all motorbike - , scooter -, 4-wheeler and moped-riders are heartly welcome. The organiser, the Winhoek Moto Cross Club will host this charity event for the SPCA.

Admittance will be from 9:00 o'clock onwards and at 10:00 o'clock a champagne-breakfast will be served for the ladies.

The active participants will be split up in teams and have to prove themselves in various skill and fungames. Of course there are also prizes to be won, which are sponsored by Joker's Pizzaria, Novel Yamaha and by Messrs Nestlé.

The kids will have something to look forward to as well. Each kid can try out a 50ccm bike on the children's track. Who knows, it might be an opportunity to discover the Namibian Champion of 2020 ? Obviously boots, helmets, gloves will be provided by the organiser. There will also be a jumping-castle. At about noon a race will be held on the outside-track, after which a "blindman's race" will take place. The rider's eyes will be blindfolded and the pillion rider has to lead him to the finish line by means of hints and cues.

Members of the motorbike groups "Live to Ride Windhoek", "CMA Windhoek", Wild Dulls" and "Ventulus" will perform so called "doughnuts". The rider lets the bike rotate while pulling the handbrake. The winner is the one with the most prettiest braking marks circle on the concrete. A "tyreburning" will be shown as well, although I have no idea what this might contain. None-competing Spectators are kindly asked to bring along a tin of dog food or cat food as admittance fee in aid of the SPCA.

The bar in the beer-barn will be open and in the evening braaipacks will be sold. Since Gallina with its infrastructure and sanitary facilities is practically made for camping, the organiser will set up a campsite.
