This year the organisation of the Namibia Moto Sport Federation (NMSF) annual party lay in the hands of the Windhoek Moto Cross Club. The dignitaries of the various Clubs recalled the highlights of 2008 followed by the nicely decorated buffet, arranged by the women of the Windhoek Moto Cross Club (WMCC).

Hein Venter, vice-president – motor cycling, held the ceremony for the motor bike and Quad-Classes. The most outstanding sportsman among the MX-riders was Tommy Gous, who did not only win the the Open-Class, but who was also became overall champion in the "Wesbank King of the Dirt" category. Following are all trophy winners for 2008.

The champions of the various Quad-Classes were pretty cheerful on the premises of AGRA, at the Windhoek Show grounds. Under lots of applause the various champions received their annual trophies. Ladies first:

The Enduro-Classes were honoured as well. Here Ingo Waldschmidt must be mentioned, who is not only the first Namibian to compete in the Dakar Rally, but who is also one of the best riders in Enduro in the whole of southern Africa.

Olli Joubert held the award ceremony for the automobile-Classes. It should be mentioned that some of the winners were not present and the NMSF should investigate as to where this disinterest is coming from. Nevertheless, this did not diminish the cheerful atmosphere among the champions present.
