The Windhoek Motocross Club and the Namibian Motor Sport Federation bury the hatchet
After some lengthy negotiations and hours of hard work, the committee members of the Windhoek Motocross Club (WMCC) are satisfied that their list of demands has been met by the Namibian Motorsport Federation (NMSF).
The WMCC was at loggerheads with NMSF and refused to affiliate with the federation until certain issues were put to rest. Negotiations between the WMCC and the NMSF, under the auspices of the Namibian Sports Council (NSC) revolved mainly around voting rights, financial management and an ambulance that belongs to the WMCC. As these problems have now been resolved and it would seem that the WMCC is looking forward to a healthy relationship with the NMSF in the future.
The result of the WMCC affiliation means that on Saturday the 14th of August 2010 the sixth leg of the2010 WMCC championship and the first leg of the2010 NMSF Motocross championship will take place.
This rip roaring action will take place at the Home of Motocross in Namibia the Gallina Race Park, which is 20 kilometres outside of Windhoek on the Okahandja road. Gallina is well known for hosting the best adrenaline action available to man and when the dust settles, the Jägermeister After Party will rock you into the early hours of Sunday morning.
All the top riders in Motocross, Endurocross and Quadcross will be in action. Bikes or quads, boys or girls, anything goes. You will not want to miss this action.
