Winston Pit-Bike Clash
For the first time ever on Namibian soil, JTI Group of Companies will sponsor the “Winston Pit-Bike Clash”. This is racing for grown-ups on small pit-bikes with 125cc engines. Usually one finds the odd mechanic or the frustrated father who wants to show off to his son who just finished a mx-race in stock-last! Anyway they all ride like they were all crash test dummies!
For whatever reason, it’s lots of fun for the spectators who can watch the blast off of this new motorsoprt graze in front of the beer-barn at Gallina Moto Cross Park. The Junior-Track at Gallina is very suitable for such a firsttime event which promises spills, thrills and handlebar-banging throughout.

When approached for sponsorship Winston Area Manager for Namibia, Diederick Muller was all excited and he promised to bring the Honda CBR 600 Winston-Replica Bike to Gallina. This bike can be won in a Winston Luckydraw held in Namibia only, by February 2007.
The 10th anniversary will be a bash, racing with Air Namibia Inter-Series, freestyling with the Red Bull X-Fighters Show Namibia, the Tafel Lager Battle of the Bands, DJ Coco and the famous Jägermeister-Party and of courrse the Winston Pit-Bike Clash. That is family-fun on 28th October and the week after on November 4th.
