Moto Cross Inter-Series 2007 - Gareth Swanepoel guest of honour
It was Michael Nederlof und Paul Loots who invited Grand Prix rider Gareth Swanepoel (RSA) to the final leg of the Namibian "Inter-Series", this coming Saturday, to be held under the official title "Camel MX – das for Cash". Gareth will be Master of Ceremonies at the Prize-giving that evening. He was all geared to partake in the Inter-Series but had to withdraw due to a broken Arm.

Gareth is well known in Namibia and we pride ourselves by claiming that his international career startet at Gallina Motocross Park.
Gareth was born on November 24 in 1984 in South Africa. In 1993 he won his first major title, the NMA World Mini Grand Prix in the USA. In 1998 Gareth was a member of the South African Team that won the "Namibia Trophy of Nations" title at Gallina. In 1999 Gareth won the South African Highschool Class 125cc. That same year he participated at the “Sheffield Supercross” in England where he finished in 3rd overall. No small feat!
Together with the well known Vangani Team he moved to Germany. After a year with Team Kosak, where he finished the German Championships in 7th overall, he joined the Kölling Yamaha Team and won the German Championship Open Class.
Now he moved to England to ride for Molson Kawasaki GP Team. In 2007 he finished his best ever GP season in 5th overall position. He also is a member of the South African "des Nations" Team.
