By now I have relaxed a bit as last week I had a very busy schedule. On Tuesday I received my brand new Suzuki RM 85 from Mr. Bert Poensgen of SUZUKI INTERNATIONAL EUROPE GMBH. This was quite an experience which was also broadcasted on EASY.TV one of my new Sponsors. I will write a full report the moment I have received the pictures of the hand over.

On Wednesday I tested the bike and tried as much as possible to find the correct setup which we eventually did. Thursday my dad serviced the bike and Friday morning we left for Schwedt, which is situated on the border of Germany and Poland some 800 km away from Stuttgart, to ride the ADAC MX Masters Junior Cup.

Saturday in the free practice I found that the setup was not as perfect (27th) as we had thought as this was a sandy track. My mechanic Mirco quickly did some adjustments and I qualified for the A-Finale in 17th position in my group. This was quite a shock as could only enter the gate in 34th position. I had to fight the bike all the time as it did not want to maneuver as I wanted it to and this obviously worked on my fitness as I could not ride the last four weeks because of my hand.

In the first heat I was involved in a mass crash on the start and I worked my way up to 21st position but I also crashed because I could not hit the ruts properly. The second heat I had a super start and I was riding in ninth position until my fitness ruled out a top ten position. Overall I ended in 23rd which is definitely not what I wanted. Hopefully we will sort out the bike this week and in Tessin on the 5th I am aiming for the top ten in the Deutsche Meisterschaft.
