02.11.2006 Press Release ZENNER RACING Team
The two Zenner Racing team mates, Tommy and Matthew, are eager and ready for the second round of the Namibian Inter Series.
Tommy Gous, in the open class and on his Zenner Novel Yamaha, had a fairly successful 1st round. It took some changes to the set-up of his bike during the day’s racing, and thankfully a good set-up was found just before the "King of the Dirt" race. He was just so much smoother and looked much more comfortable on the bike than he did during the first two heats. It showed, as Tommy was able to finish the ‘King of the Dirt’ in second place, which had not been done before by a Namibian rider during the "Inter Series".

Tommy will have some stiff competition again this weekend, but he will be determined to at least repeat, if not better, his performance from the first weekend.
Matthew Nederlof also had a good day on his KTM 50 Pro Senior. Unfortunately the 50cc class only had a few entries for the first weekend, but it seems entries will increase a bit more for the second. He won all his heats with ease, but also his bike had a few set-up problems. Those have been rectified and an even faster Matt can be expected this weekend.

It was also nice to see riders like Michael Barlow coming back to the 50cc class with some increased speed and determination and we hope to see him here again in the future.
The Zenner Racing Team would like to wish the Organizers and ALL the riders all the best for this coming weekend and may we see a repeat of a great first weekend.
