15.11.2006 Pajewski Racing – Racereport
It has been a while since the last report, simply because we have been so busy racing the past five weeks.

14/10 – 6th Regional at Killarny

Final Classification:
1. Calvin Vlaanderen (50 points)
2. Erhard Pajewski (44)
3. Daniel Pajewski (40)
4. Damon Vlaanderen (38)
Calvin Vlaanderen was very strong on the Killarny Racetrack on this Saturday – forcing Erhard into 2nd in both heats.

21/10 – 7th Regional at Melkbosstrand

Final Classification:
1. Erhard Pajewski (50 points)
2. Calvin Vlaanderen (44)
3. Damon Vlaanderen (39)
4. Joshua Bransgrove (37)
5. Daniel Pajewski (37)
Erhard is in exceptional form and wins all three heats of the day. The last heat he holeshots and takes of leading the race in front of all Promini and 85 Jnr until the end with a 40 second gap to second place. Daniel also has a good day. But a crash in the last lap of heat 2 pushes him back from 3rd to 5th for the day.

29/10 – Last National at Zeemans in Johannesburg

Final Classification:
:
3. Calvin Vlaanderen (56 points)
:
10. Erhard Pajewski (39)

18. Daniel Pajewski (16) DNF in heat 2
After a tough day of racing we realised that after having done only 8 national ever in SA we still need to get more aggressive on the track to be able to stay infront of al the very well experienced national riders.
Daniel was unlucky in heat 2, snapping his subframe, Erhard was unlucky in heat 1 after lying 2nd and being T-boned. Out of the burn in lap 1 having to come back into P15 after being completely last.
3rd heat – Erhard holeshots together with Aeron Mare and tries to pass him for about 4 laps when the other guys behind him take advantage of Erhard trying to pass on different lines. He ends up in P5 – 14 seconds behind the leader after 17minutes of battle.

04/11 – International at Gallina in Windhoek

Final Classification:
1. Erhard Pajewski (57 points)
2. Wade Den (39)
3. Daniel Pajewski (37)
Back in Namibia it was nice to see that all our training has finally paid of. When we left in early 2005 all the 85cc that where then still faster then us had to except defeat this time around. Both the boys have become more consistent and also faster being able to jump all the jumps in lap 2 of practise. They both adapted very quickly to a new track and where able to fight off even the 2006 Namibian National Champion who is 4 years older then Daniel.

11/11 – 8th Regional at Csmx in Capetown

Final Classification:
1. Erhard Pajewski (50 points)
2. Daniel Pajewski (42)
3. Damon Vlaanderen (39)
Erhard was repeating his victory being in top form at the end of the season. A holeshot in both heats made this day a lot easier. Daniel had a fairly good start in heat 1 being able to follow in P2 behind his brother who was running behind Matt Geldenhuys. A crash over the big centre tabletop in 2nd last lap gave Bernard Haupt the chance to pass Erhard who managed to get up and going before his brother caught up to him.
It was great to finally have the 2 boys finish in 1st and 2nd place at a regional. With this victory we now find Erhard leading the 2006 Western Cape Regionals with a 3point margin over Calvin Vlaanderen after droppoints.
This coming weekend will be our 6th race in a row being the last Regional in Western Cape. This weekend will decide on the 2006 Western Cape 85cc Jnr Champion and I can only say, whichever way it ends, both of these great riders Calvin and Erhard deserve the title, as this has been a really close battle throughout the season.
May the best man win !!!!
