Erhard Pajewski takes the lead in Promini - 2007 Western Cape Regional Championship after an exceptional performance at the 2nd regional held at Killarney this past Saturday. Erhard’s "Johnson’s Yamaha" again was performing brilliantly and unlike last event at Killarney this time he could keep up with the fast 4-strokes on the straights.

1st heat started off with Caleb Tenant in P1 followed by Joshua Bransgrove also on a 4-stroke then in third it was Bernard Haupt and P4 - Erhard Pajewski. In lap 2 Erhard goes down while taking a chance at passing Joshua. Seconds later Caleb makes a mistake and comes of the circuit getting back in P7 right behind Erhard.

The 2 of them have an awesome chase right through the entire field moving closer and closer to Bernard Haupt who managed to get a huge lead through both their Mistakes. Near end Erhard makes "contact" with a lapper allowing Caleb to get ahead of him. They finish in P2 and P3 only metres behind Bernard.

2nd heat has Bernard Haupt in P1, Calvin Vlaanderen in P2 and Erhard in P5. Erhard again starts his chase and after few laps finds himself in P2 but having lost to much time on Bernard who can ride freely. Erhard settles for 2nd place with Caleb in third.

3rd heat starts with Caleb Tenant and Erhard Pajewski on equal points for the day as well as the championship lead. Erhard has a horrible start and lands in +- P18 after the first turn. He starts a chase of note and passes riders and lappers and riders until he finally manages to pass Bernard Haupt for P1. This hard earned position is unfortunately given back to Bernard when Erhard shifts into neutral on the long straight after tablemountain. He might not have the race but he certainly won the admiration of all spectators with this exceptional performance.
