For the 2008 season Pupkewitz-Honda, under the able leadership of dealer principal Phillip van der Merwe, established their own racing-team.

In the open-class category they have signed multiple champion Rainer Becker who will represent the Honda Racing team on a CRF 450 R8. In the 125cc Class Arno Engels will challenge the Namibian competitors on a fast CRF 250R8.

But this team is also involved in Quad racing and have signed the two protagonists Dirkie Baard and Fanie Steenkamp, both competing on a competitive TRX 450.

It is the ambition of the team to win as many races as possible in oder to demonstrate the superirority of Honda worx material.
