WE ARE BACK
A new year and a partially new name. The Team is better prepared than ever before and for once will field both riders for the whole of the Namibian Season.
The Team will again consist of Tommy Gous competing in the Open Class on a Yamaha YZ450F and Matthew Nederlof competing in the 65cc and 85cc Classes. Pre-season training has been very successful with both riders fully fit and comfortable with their bikes. The team will also compete at all the AMU Southern Challenge events hosted in four countries.
The team is again well supported by its sponsors, without whom, mounting a competitive challenge will always remain an up-hill battle.

Tommy is ecstatic with the handling of his 2008 model and finally feels confident enough to be able to seriously challenge for the illusive Open and ‘King of the Dirt’ titles. His current lap times are an enormous improvement on last year and should he remain fit for the whole season, be a major force to be reckoned with. Another important aim for him is, to qualify as one of the two Open Namibian riders that will participate at the FIM Motocross Grand Prix in South Africa in July this year.
For Matthew, this will be the first full year on a 65cc bike, after a successful few months on a 50cc bike. The suspension and especially the height of his 65cc bike have been modified to suit him and going by his already impressive speed, is assisting him tremendously to mount a challenging 2008 season. He will focus on the 65cc Class but will compete in occasional 85cc Class races as well.
As always, regular race reports on their progress will follow.
Team ZENNER YAMAHA would like to which the Windhoek Moto Cross Club committee and all the Namibian riders a successful and save 2008 motocross season.
