MX2 world champion Christophe Pourcel had a tough week in California. He broke his finger in a practice crash in a whoop section during the week but was able to race the Anaheim 2 Supercross with a pain killing injection.
Saturday night things went worse for the Kawasaki factory rider.
After winning his qualifiying race Pourcel jumped too far and landed hard during the main event and felt pain in his leg immediately. He pulled out and there is a chance his shin is broken. That might result in a six to eight weeks break.
Pourcel is supposed to be back in France today to have further examinations on his leg. A press release should be out when more informations are available.
