It’s African racing time once more in Namibia. Because Namibia, represented by the Windhoek Motocross Club (WMCC), left an excellent impression within the AMU (African Motorcycle Union) organisation, by staging the 12th annual Motocross Inter-Series, Namibia was awarded to hold the 2009 AMU Motocross Championship of African Nations on 27th and 28th of June at Gallina Motocross Park.

For the past 9 weeks the infrastructure at Gallina Motocross Park was refurbished, the track-layout was newly designed by Ronnie Adams according to FIM-rules and other work necessary like starting-gates will be improved shortly.
Head of the organising team is Michael Nederlof who, together with WMCC Chairman Tobie Barlow and selected members of the WMCC will seek to run a smooth event and a show to be remebered for a long time. It must be special and will be exemplary.
