Lang, Gundolf (NAM)
Date of birth:16. October 1992
Place of birth:Swakopmund (NAM)
Age:15
Residence:Swakopmund (NAM)
Club:Windhoek Moto Cross Club
Federation:NMSF
Gundolf was riding the first time on a Motocross bike in June 2005 and he started racing in February 2006. He had to learn a lot in his first year and was mostly to find on the end of the field.
2007 started more promising, but in March, right at the beginning of the season he broke both his arms while practising for the next race. He had to wait till September 2007 to get back on the bike, and as his 85cc championship was lost by loosing to many races, his sponsors got him a Honda CRF250R to go up into the Clubmens Class. Gundolf has grown a lot taller as well, so that he was to 'big' for the 85cc and as we can see now in 2008, the change to the Clubmens done good for him.
Gundolf is excited to ride and catch one competitor after the other in the races. This got him this year in 4 races so far a second place on the Astra track and in Swakopmund, on his home ground, on the 3rd of May a third place. He is not shy to fight against the 'old' riders like Rossi and Teixeira.
Gundolf is the eldest of 4 kids.
